During the 2008 Halloween celebrations, someone named Satoshi Nakamoto had sent an email with a peer-to-peer currency written academic paper.

It was called Nakamato, the schema that he proposed was not known in cryptography circles, though other cryptographers had proposed schemes similar to earlier as Bitcoin

Two months later, Nakamato announced the launch of the first Bitcoin software, proving it was more than one idea. Many people started downloading and using the software.

In the early days Bitcoin was used almost exclusively by 'geeks' cryptography. At that time, at the start of a Bitcoin sold less than a penny. But gradually it went and grew.

Bitcoin came after the financial crisis of 2008 when some free market people were worried about Federal Reserve efforts, Wired wrote.

Nakamoto disappeared from the internet before Bitcoin drew extraordinary attention to people. He handed over the project control to a contributor named Gavin Andresen in December 2010 and the public Bitcoin forum disappeared. To date, Nakamatos's identity remains a mystery.
